What these villas are, and what they are not
They are houses. A four-bedroom villa takes sixteen people and the six-bedroom Villa Nova takes twenty-four, and that is the number the house is prepared for — beds, bathrooms, parking, water. For a haldi, a mehendi, a small reception or the family staying together the night before, that is exactly the right shape.
They are not banquet halls. There is no stage, no commercial kitchen and no parking for two hundred cars, and they sit among other houses rather than in a compound of their own. A function larger than a houseful is not something to book online and hope about.
This is the part to ring us about rather than read about. What a particular villa can take on a particular day depends on the day, the neighbours and the villa, and we would rather tell you plainly on the phone than publish a rule that turns out not to fit what you are planning.
What we can set up
A celebration setup is ₹6,000, a speaker and mic ₹2,499, a cake ₹1,200 and a barbecue ₹3,500. Meals are cooked at the villa — ₹450 a head for breakfast, ₹1,100 for breakfast and dinner, ₹1,600 for all three. Decoration beyond the celebration setup, and anything brought in by an outside vendor, is part of the conversation rather than a box to tick.

Can we hold a wedding function at the villa?
It is an enquiry rather than a yes or a no. The villas are houses let whole to one booking, not event venues, so what is possible depends on the villa, the day and the size of what you have in mind. Ring us on the number at the top of this page with the date and the headcount and you will get a straight answer the same day.
How many guests can attend?
The villa is prepared for the people staying in it — sixteen in a four-bedroom villa, twenty-four in Villa Nova. Anything beyond that is an enquiry, because parking, water and the neighbours are all real limits rather than preferences.
Can we bring our own decorator or caterer?
That is the first thing to discuss. We cook at the villa ourselves and we have a celebration setup at ₹6,000, and outside vendors are agreed case by case rather than assumed. Ring us with what you have in mind.
Which villa is biggest for a family function?
Villa Nova — 6 bedrooms, sleeping 12 comfortably and taking up to 24. It is at Sholinganallur, about 15 km from the Adyar signal, from ₹34,999 a night plus tax.
Can the whole family stay the night?
That is what these are for. The whole villa is yours, nobody else is booked into it, and check-in is from 3 PM with check-out at 11 AM — with early check-in often possible when the villa is free the day before.
What does it cost?
From ₹24,000 a night plus tax at Villa Macarena to ₹34,999 at Villa Nova, on a weekday. Fridays, Saturdays, long weekends and the days around Christmas and New Year cost more. The price for your own dates is on each villa's page.
